A total 152 vacancies have been announced for the post of Male Homeguard Volunteer (पुरुष होमगार्ड स्वयंसेवक). These are distributed across UR, SC, OBC, ST, and EWS categories with horizontal reservation for Uttarakhand Orphans, Freedom Fighters' Dependants, Ex-Servicemen, and Uttarakhand Andolan participants.

Selected candidates will undergo medical examination by Chief Medical Officer / Principal Medical Officer. Vision must be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other (without glasses). Candidates must be free from flat foot, knock-knee, bow-leg, varicose veins, deformities, or any disability that interferes with duty.
