Professor - Medical Candidates: A medical qualification included in Schedule I, II, or Part II
of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 along with a postgraduate degree such as MD/MS or
equivalent in the respective discipline. For surgical super-specialties, M.Ch. is required; for medical
super-specialties, D.M. is required (2, 3, or 5-year recognized course). Experience required: 14 years after MD/MS,
or 12 years after D.M./M.Ch. (2 or 5-year course after MBBS), or 11 years after a 3-year
D.M./M.Ch. Non-Medical Candidates: Master's degree + Doctorate degree from a recognized
university + 14 years of teaching/research experience after obtaining the doctorate.

Experience: 10 years after MD/MS; for super-specialty disciplines, 8 years after D.M./M.Ch. (2 or 5-year course), or
7 years after 3-year D.M./M.Ch. Non-Medical Candidates: Same as Professor (Non-Medical) +
10 years of experience after the doctorate.

Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA) from an MCI recognized institution. Experience varies by post: 14
years (Professor), 10 years (Additional Professor), 6 years (Associate Professor), or 3 years (Assistant Professor)
after obtaining the postgraduate degree.

- Eligible candidates satisfying all the
eligibility criteria can apply through Online Mode only via the official AIIMS Rishikesh website
https://aiimsrishikesh.edu.in.
- The online application portal opened on 18
April 2026 at 10:00 hours and will automatically close on 18 May 2026 at 17:30 hours.
- Candidates wishing to apply for more than one
post must fill a separate online application form and pay a separate application fee for each post.
- No documents, including the online
application form, are required to be sent by post in advance.
- Applicants should take a printout of their
complete, signed application form and bring it to the interview along with originals and self-attested
photocopies of all relevant certificates.

AIIMS Rishikesh Faculty Recruitment 2026 - Terms & Conditions
- Candidates selected for faculty posts at
AIIMS Rishikesh must comply with all terms and conditions as specified in the official notification.
- The appointment is full time, and private
practice of any type is strictly prohibited. The probation period is two years, and extension for date of
joining will not be granted except in exceptional circumstances as decided by AIIMS administration.
- All candidates must conform to the rules of
conduct and discipline applicable to institute employees.
- Candidates should not have been convicted by
any court of law. Any false information or willful suppression of material facts in the application may result
in removal from service and any other action deemed fit by the appointing authority.
- All qualifications must be registered with
MCI/NMC/DCI wherever applicable. Requisite experience may be relaxed as per rules for SC/ST candidates only.
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to immediate
disqualification. The Executive Director of AIIMS Rishikesh reserves the right to make any amendment,
